Organize
How to organize multiple social media accounts
A personal Instagram, a business Instagram, two X accounts, a client's TikTok, your LinkedIn, a portfolio site… The accounts aren't the problem — remembering which handle goes with which context is.
Quick answer: Group your handles by context, not by platform. In Profile Bud, create a profile per context — Personal, Business, Side project — put each account in the right one, and switch with a tap. Sharing then always sends the right set.
The mistake: organizing by platform
Most people mentally file accounts by app: “my Instagrams, my X accounts…” But sharing never happens by platform — it happens by audience. A client wants your business accounts; a friend wants your personal ones; a conference contact wants the professional slice. Organize by context and every “send me your stuff” moment becomes one decision instead of five.
Step 1: Inventory every handle
List everything: social accounts, the YouTube channel you almost forgot, your portfolio domain, the GitHub you only share with developers. Add each one to Profile Bud — pick the platform, type the username, and the app builds the profile URL. Custom websites go in the same list.
Step 2: Create a profile per context
In Profile Bud, profiles are switchable groups of accounts. A structure that works for most people:
- Personal — the accounts friends get.
- Business — LinkedIn, work X, portfolio, company site.
- Side project — one per brand you run, if you run any.
Tap the profile name at the top to switch; long-press a profile to rename or edit it. The same account can be reached in seconds either way, but it only ever appears where it belongs.
Step 3: Share by context, not by memory
- Someone asks for one handle → swipe right on it, paste. Done.
- Someone asks for “all your socials” → switch to the right profile and share the list — plain text, Markdown, JSON, or a custom template.
- Because the wrong-context accounts aren't in the list you're sharing, you can't accidentally leak the personal meme account into a client thread.

- New account? Add it the day you create it. The system only works if it's complete.
- Renamed a handle? Update it once in Profile Bud and every future share is correct — no stale links in the wild.
- Prune yearly. Dead accounts out of the list; nobody needs your abandoned platform experiment from three years back.
